Giant Anubis visits Seattle Station

Visitors to King Street Station in Seattle have a colossal surprise waiting to greet them for a 28 foot tall statue weighing a half of a ton has been erected at the entrance.  The giant image of Anubis, the god of the Egyptian afterlife, has been placed outside the station to advertise the Tutankhamun exhibition which opens in the Pacific Science Center on 24 May.

The exhibition, which will display over 130 of the tomb's artefacts,  is to run until 6 January 2013.
