Theatre of the World Exhibition

Hobart's Museum of Old and New Art (MONA) in Tasmania is to work with the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) to create a new exhibition called Theatre of the World. It is described as 4000 years of 'visual thinking' and will feature around 450 pieces from both the MONA and TMAG collections.  Exhibits will include Egyptian mummy cases, Chinese ceramics, rare bark cloth paintings and the National Gallery of Victoria's Weeping Woman by Picasso.

Further details of the exhibition which opens in June can be found here.
