Royal Cornwall Museum New Exibition Opens Its Doors
The opening day of the new exhibition focusing on ancient civilisations at the Royal Cornwall Museum has proved a huge success with the Western Morning News reporting that around 1200 people attended. Unwrapping the Past features the mummy of Iset-tayef-nakht alongside his coffin, and CAT scans have enabled a reconstruction of what he may have looked like. There is a good selection of ancient artefacts and activities for young and old to enjoy. The new gallery has received grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Museums Librarie and Archives Council and Foundation for Aports and the Arts.
