Corning Museum Acquires Two Important Pieces of Antiquity Glass

Corning Museum of Glass in New York have added two important and beautiful objects from antiquity.

One is an opaque turquoise portrait inlay depicting the Egyptian pharoah Akhenaten.

The other is from Late Rome and is a bowl with a beautifully detailed inlaid Nilotic scene.
