Egyptologist Campbell Price and a mummy from the Manchester Museum featured on Blue Peter this week.
The mummy, known only as museum number 1769, was taken into hospital to undergo scans to see what lay beneath the many layers of linen. The size of the mummy suggests it was a child and the mask hinted towards it being female.
The mummy which is believed to be around 2,000 years old, gave Campbell a surprise however when it was revealed that it may indeed have been a male.
