"Whether you were born yesterday or 5,000 years ago, you have a mother and mothers have been celebrated since the time of ancient Egypt.
The Robert and Frances Fullerton Museum of Art at Cal State San Bernardino will hold An Evening with Mummy on Friday, May 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Families will get a chance to express their love for mummy in an Egyptian fashion.
Children will create crafts including Mummy’s Day cards using Egyptian symbols and hieroglyphs and moms will be treated like the Queen of the Nile with Egyptian inspired treats and tea.
The schedule of events also includes an exclusive tour of the museum’s unique collection of Egyptian antiquities, where guests will learn about the role of women and mothers in ancient Egypt.
This event costs $5 for a family of three and $2 for each additional person. Parking at Cal State San Bernardino is $5 per vehicle.
The museum is located on campus at 5500 University Parkway in San Bernardino." - The Press Enterprise
