Egyptian Cat in the Attic to go on display


Here is more on the Ancient Egyptian cat found in an attic that was recently reported upon on this blog.

An Egyptian mummified cat discovered in a Cornish attic will be under the spotlight in a new exhibition at the Royal Cornwall Museum (RCM).

The cat, on loan from its owner Robert Gray, will be put on display near an Egyptian mummified ibis bird.

Mr Gray rediscovered the cat, named Mao, in the attic of his house in Portscatho and brought it in to the RCM for identification in February." - This is Cornwall
