Royal Cornwall Museum gets grant for new Exhibition

Truro's Royal Cornwall Museum has been awarded a grant of £233,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The grant will enable the museum to launch a brand new ancient world's exhibition featuring as part of the display, the mummy of Iset Tayf Nakht, an Egyptian priest.  Items loaned from the British Museum will also go on display in the museum.

The exhibition will open in June and will examine life in ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome.  It will also examine mummification and the afterlife.
